These policies apply specifically to The 60-Day Jumpstart, a $37 digital educational toolkit sold by Think Digital LLC under the Laptop Money brand.
Scope and who operates this page
This policy explains how Think Digital LLC, operating as Laptop Money ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information connected with The 60-Day Jumpstart at jumpstart.laptopmoney.co, its Payhip checkout and file delivery, and related customer support.
This policy is product-specific and supplements the general Laptop Money Privacy Policy. For privacy practices unique to this product, this page provides the more specific explanation.
Information we receive
Depending on how you interact with us, we or our service providers may receive:
- Contact details: your name, email address, and messages you send to support.
- Order information: the product purchased, transaction/order ID, payment status, amount, purchase date, refund status, and limited billing information made available through Payhip or the payment processor.
- Website and device data: IP address, browser/device information, referring page, pages visited, approximate region, and standard server logs.
- Optional communications: feedback or marketing signup details if you choose to provide them.
Payment-card information: Payhip's payment providers handle payment details. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
Your credit documents stay with you
The toolkit is downloaded and completed by you. We do not require you to upload or send us your credit reports, Social Security number, driver's license, bank statements, account passwords, completed letters, or evidence files. Editing a local PDF, Word document, or spreadsheet does not by itself transmit its contents to us.
Please keep your documents on a private device or storage service you trust. Do not include sensitive credit details in support emails. If you accidentally send us sensitive documents, contact us promptly to request deletion; we will review and address the request subject to security and legal obligations.
If you use Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft 365, or another third-party service to edit or store files, that service may process content under its own terms and privacy practices.
How information is used
We use the information described above to:
- Process and confirm purchases, provide download access, and answer support questions.
- Handle refund requests and maintain necessary purchase and accounting records.
- Operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website and detect misuse.
- Understand website performance and improve the product and buying experience.
- Measure advertising results and, where permitted, support relevant marketing.
- Comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and protect customer rights.
Transactional messages such as receipts and delivery emails are separate from optional promotional emails. We use permission or another appropriate legal basis for marketing where the law requires it.
Payhip, hosting, and service providers
Our storefront, payment handoff, checkout, and file delivery use Payhip and its payment processors. Payhip may collect information directly from you under Payhip's Privacy & Cookies Policy.
Our website hosting provider processes standard information needed to deliver webpages and maintain service security. We may also use providers for email communications, customer support, bookkeeping, and technical operations. We share only information appropriate to these tasks and applicable requirements.
We may disclose data if reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, address suspected fraud, protect security, or enforce lawful rights.
Cookies, Meta ads, and measurement
This site and third-party checkout services may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality and security. If Meta Pixel or other advertising/analytics technology is enabled on the Jumpstart website, it may collect page-visit and interaction information, device/browser data, and identifiers for ad measurement or relevant advertising.
We do not intentionally send credit reports, Social Security numbers, or completed dispute details through advertising tags. Payhip and Meta have independent data practices; see Meta's Privacy Policy.
Non-essential tracking and associated choices must be configured in accordance with applicable laws. Depending on your location, you may be able to reject non-essential cookies, use a browser setting, manage your Meta ad preferences, or request an opt-out as described below. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your place of residence and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; receive a copy of certain information; object to certain processing; opt out of qualifying targeted advertising or sale/sharing; withdraw consent; or appeal a privacy-rights decision.
To make a request, email hello@laptopmoney.co with "Jumpstart Privacy Request" in the subject. We may need reasonable information to verify the request. Do not email a Social Security number or full credit report as proof of identity.
Some order records may need to be retained to meet tax, fraud-prevention, or other legal obligations. You may separately manage Meta account ad preferences through Meta's services.
Retention, safeguards, and international processing
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for delivering the product, supporting customers, maintaining records, resolving disputes, and satisfying legal requirements. Retention periods vary depending on the category of information.
We use reasonable organizational and technical protections suitable for the information we handle, but no online transmission or storage method is completely secure. Our providers may process data in the United States or other jurisdictions, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
Email preferences and children
Payhip or its payment providers may send order-related communications such as receipts and file-access links. These necessary transactional messages are not optional promotional messages.
If you separately subscribe to promotional emails, you can unsubscribe via the link in the message or by contacting us. The Jumpstart toolkit and purchasing experience are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13; please contact us if you believe this occurred.
Policy updates and contact
We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the website, technology, providers, or applicable law. We will update the effective date above and provide additional notice where required.
